Jules Pascin,born in Bulgaria in 1885, died in Paris 1930.
Painter, printmaker and draughtsman; studied in Vienna, Bucharest and in 1903 at the Art School in Munich.
After this he moved to Paris where he lived until 1914, in this year, he moved to New York via London. In America he travelled to the Southern states and visited Cuba producing a Carribean sketchbook. John Quinn, famous art collector, was a patron of Pascin, he had 23 Pascin works in his collection when he died.
